The Consumer Product Safety Commission says IBM is recalling 526,000 laptop batteries made by Sony. The Lenovo lithium-ion batteries used in "think pad" notebook computers may pose a fire hazard.

The two were charged in an Aug. 9 complaint with backdating stock options so employees could buy shares at low prices.
